Power restored to Montague area

About 1,100 Maritime Electric customers in Kings County were without power for a short time this afternoon.

A crew dispatched to the area around 3:30 p.m. found branches on the line in Montague, which they removed.

The affected communities were Georgetown Royalty, Brudenell, Roseneath, New Perth, Head of Cardigan, Alberry Plains, Cardross, Baldwin Road, Summerville, Elliotvale, Cardigan North, Georgetown, Union Road, Glenfanning, Lorne Valley, St. Teresa, Vernon River, Montague, Corraville, Peakes, Union and Victoria Cross.
