CTV Atlantic, based in Halifax, is bracing for layoffs
The Island’s culinary delights will be on display for all the Maritimes to see as CTV Atlantic broadcasts live from the Charlottetown waterfront tonight.
Meteorologist Cindy Day and reporter Jayson Baxter will share the best of food and fun as we celebrate the Autumn on the Island. The hour-long broadcast begins at 5 p.m. at one of the hottest new destinations on Prince Edward Island – the recently-completed P.E.I. Convention Centre at the Delta Prince Edward.
CTV News at 5 has been touring the region this summer, sharing Maritime hospitality, culinary delights and hidden gems. Tonight’s show will do the same, highlighting some of the big celebrations on the Island’s Fall calendar, such as the Fall Flavours Festival. Islanders will recognize a few of the show’s special guests.
Taking the show on the road requires plenty of planning but the payoff is two-fold. It allows the CTV News at 5 team to showcase all this region has to offer and at the same time meet face-to-face with the many Maritimers who tune in on a regular basis.
All are welcome to drop down to the P.E.I. Convention Centre to take in the show which begins at 5 pm.
