RCMP West Prince Detachment arrested four youth Saturday in relation to thefts from vehicles and damages to properties the night before in Tignish.
The investigation began earlier in the day when several members of the community reported to police that items had been stolen out of their vehicles overnight.
One resident reported a rock had been thrown through a window in their house, while another person had damage done to the inside of his vehicle.
Tips from the community assisted in identifying the suspects which led to the arrests of the four youth. Several pieces of stolen property were also recovered. All four were released to appear in Summerside Provincial Youth court in November.
RCMP are urging anyone who has any information regarding the incident, or any other crime, to call their local police agency or Crime Stoppers.
