ALBERTON – Western Hospital’s emergency department will be closed overnight Friday, March 22 from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. due to a temporary lack of physician coverage.  

The department will re-open at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 23.  

West Prince residents with urgent medical needs should call 9-1-1 or seek emergency services at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown.

    Like I said before Currie's "Announcement " was not worth the paper it was written on.
