A freezing drizzle warning is now in place across all of Prince Edward Island.
“This is a warning that an extended period of freezing drizzle is expected or occurring,” Environment Canada says.

A cold moist northeast flow will give freezing drizzle conditions for the rest of today and possibly this evening for most of the Island.
Today’s forecast calls for periods of freezing drizzle.
Wind northeast 30 km/h gusting to 50. High plus 1.
Periods of freezing drizzle this evening will change to rain showers near midnight.
Fog patches overnight can be expected.
Wind north 30 km/h gusting to 50. Temperature rising to plus 3 by morning.
On Saturday, rain showers or drizzle will end late in the afternoon then it will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of flurries.
Risk of freezing drizzle in the evening.
Rainfall amount of 2 mm can be expected.
