Outdoor Winterfun Activities Cancelled

Outdoor Winterfun Weekend events in Charlottetown have been cancelled for today (Sunday, February 17) due to weather conditions which are expected to worsen throughout the day. This afternoon has seen rain and freezing rain, which is expected to change into snow Sunday evening. However, all indoor activities will go ahead as scheduled. Those events include free movies at Empire Theatres, a family skate at the Cody Banks Arena, an indoor playland in the West Royalty Community Centre, free admission to That Fun Place, a family swim at the CARI Complex, a seniors’ ceilidh, a family skate at the Simmons Sports Centre, a Teddy Bears’ Picnic performance at The Guild, a PEI Rocket game, and UPEI Panther’s Women’s Hockey game.
