HELLO people. Yes maybe speed was an issue, maybe not. Let's be happy she walked away! There are many yahoos on the roads here driving like idiots on good roads or lousy roads.

And we should pass a law and start charging anyone who doesn't have snow tires on between Nov 15 and April 15.

Yet another example of likely driving too fast for conditions, people need to slow down. The RCMP should start pulling crash data (with their fancy new machine) and issuing speeding tickets to those found on their roof in the absence of a DOT aproved stunt ramp in the vicinity.
Let's be honest here. This person obviously did not do one or more of the following: have snow tires, drive the weather conditions (e.g. slow), drive with due care & attention (e.g. notice the condition of the road, traffic, etc.). In short, it is THE DRIVER'S FAULT - 100%. If the road wasn't plowed, then she or he shouldn't have been on it. If the weather conditions were poor, then she or he should have been going slower or not been there at all. It's quite simple in situations like this - it's the driver's fault. And I hope that their insurance goes through the roof for a stunt like this.
