SUMMERSIDE — Just when you thought getting around was tough enough in the snow and wind, Summerside residents have another travel impediment.

Granville Street between Schurman Avenue and Rogers Avenue, by Queen Elizabeth Park, is closed while city crews attempt to repair a water main break.

The road will be reopened when work is completed, which is estimated to be about 2  p.m.

Traffic in the area is being diverted around the closure to Arcona and Central Streets.

Residents on affected streets will have access in and out of their homes for the duration of the closure.
