Announcing that road tenders are now out is evidence that our system is grossly flawed. This shouldn't be news! Everything should be tendered and the lowest price should get it. It is tax $!

Tenders?! On PEI?! I thought the Liberals did away with that legal formality years ago. What gives? They had better be careful, or else one of their cronies might get under-bid, then there would be REAL trouble. Unless they rig the process, that is...

Another comical gag from our glorious leaders on high. The tendering process is just a formality. The contracts have already been given to their buddies BECAUSE OUR GOVERNMENT IS CORRUPT. The process is corrupt. Anyone who believes anything different has their head up their hats. PATRONAGE rules. Ghiz rules. Harper rules.I say to hades with the rules and the rulers. Let's take back our country and our government.

The tendering process does actually happen.. I am in a line of work where I see this all the time and it is not just "given to their buddies". If it was that way then I know of some companies who do quite a bit of work for the Island that would never have any work!

Gee, I don't see the Emerald Bridge nor Plan B on this list of projects. If they would just consolidate all the paving into a single project, they could focus on rebuilding 1 road at a time until all of our primary highways were upgraded. Forget the secondary roads - make them gravel.
