Prince County man charged with drug trafficking

SUMMERSIDE - Members of the Prince District JFO Drug Unit, with assistance from East Prince RCMP, arrested 44-year-old Wayne Noye of Summerside on Thursday for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

He was arrested as a result of an investigation that centered in the Miscouche area. Following the arrest, police seized over six grams of cocaine, a digital scale, a cell phone and packaging material.

Noye was released and will appear in Summerside Provincial court on April 18.
