Kings County couple facing drug and gun charges after RCMP search

PETERS ROAD - A 48-year-old male and 49-year-old female are facing a number of drug and firearms related charges after RCMP conducted a search on a residence 11 p.m. Friday.

RCMP seized hydromorphone, morphine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, used needles, a .22 cal handgun and a 20 gauge shotgun.

RCMP said the guns were not secured and were readily available.

Child Family Services assisted in the arrest as there was a 12-year-old youth living in the home.

RCMP said they encourage citizens to report any drug activity to police at (902) 838-9300.

Well for all your comments! The 12 year old has a good life, is a great kid with great parents. The information is not always what is made out to be in these situations and reports . People jump at the opportunity to Judge without all the facts. These might be the initial facts but not the complete and end facts in this situation. So don't judge a situation before you have complete facts and make comments about it.

I will be glad to see when they all get busted. Marijauna never hurt anyone or made people rob houses, businesses or try to kill anyone but everything after that used for a high has! Here's to hoping that 12 year old still has a chance at a good life. Good work RCMP!!!

Well when Justy Trudeau legalizes weed there can be some grow rooms where all the crack houses were.
