A pedestrian was struck in the parking lot next to Razzy's Roadhouse Tuesday afternoon and sent to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

A 52-year-old Stratford woman was sent to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after she was struck in a parking lot.

Charlottetown police say the woman walking in the parking lot next to Razzy's Roadhouse on St. Peter's Road at about 4:15 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle.

She was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police have charged a 24-year-old Charlottetown area man under the P.E.I. Highway Traffic Act.
