A City of Charlottetown snow plow clears the boardwalk in Victoria Park Saturday during a snowfall. According to Environment Canada about five centimeters fell Saturday. Sunday there will be a few flurries ending in the morning and then a mix of sun and cloud. But this snow is sometnhing all Islanders will have to get used to because spring is a long way off. The Winter Solstice is Dec. 21 and that means the beginning of winter, but take heart - depending where you live in the Northern Hemisphere the days will be getting longer beginning Dec. 22 by up to a minute a day. And before you know it spring will be here in late March.
The snow is just something we will have to live with for a while

This is the least noteworthy article imaginable. It's winter, it snows in winter. Thanks for the info.
