Lady Antebellum is pulling out of its plans to attend the Cavendish Beach Music Festival.

The reason? Band member Hillary Scott is expecting her first baby and will not be able to travel and perform through the summer.

Kevin Meyer, president of Meridian Entertainment Group, the entertainment buyer and promoter for the  Cavendish Beach Music Festival, wished Scott the best.

“What a wonderful surprise," he said in a statement issued late tonight.

"I can only be excited for the soon to be parents.  We will continue to work closely with Lady Antebellum’s management to include the LOTTO MAX presents Cavendish Beach Music Festival in their 2014 summer touring plans.  As we continue the festival in our 5th season, we will have over 30 world-class artists over the three days, who will join the recently announced superstar, Kenny Chesney on Saturday, July 6.  We continue to work towards announcing the complete line-up in the very near future.”

    TICKETS TOO SOON

Tickets should not be sold until all atractions are confirmed. This is the second year in a row that people have paid for tickets for an act that cancelled.

Last year, Sugarland mysteriously is double booked,.... This year a lady who was pregnant when the act was announced, cancels because she is having a baby! Something stinks in Cavendish!

loto max presents the winnings they keep
    - December 12, 2012 at 22:06:01

I tak great offence that Loto Max is sponsoring anything of this nature. Buy sports equipment for kids but other than that why isn't this money in the winnings pot. Loteries are run like ACOA, lots of spending.
