Thieves take $7,000 in power tools

City police are investigating a case of theft after more than $7,000 worth of power tools were stolen from a trailer on Darte Drive Thursday night.

Charlottetown police received a complaint Friday that a break and enter had taken place the previous night. The power tools are all Dewalt brand.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the investigation to contact them at (902)-629-4172 or P.E.I. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

    Geesh, they might as well have just hooked up to the trailer and taken that. Must have had a hitch lock on it. The tools will get traded for drugs, dealers will have new tool collections. Unless they are stupid enough to try and pawn them.
