Rayisa Perry feeds one of the goats at the Great Candian Soap Company.
While her mom huffs and puffs running a road race, Rayisa Perry decided to feed the goats at the Great Canadian Soap Company in Brackley Beach Saturday.
Her mother was one of 97 runners who participated in the third annual Great Canadian Goat Race sponsored by the soap makers. They make soap from goats milk so there were plenty of goats for the youngster to feed.
Earlier this year iRun Magazine said the Great Canadian Goat Race was one of the 16 most unique races in Canada. It got that recognition in part because special prizes are given to the oldest goat (runner), the runners who find the rubber chickens hidden along the course and for the person running their first race. There was a five kilometre and a 10 kilometer run.
