A huge Atlantic 49 prize of $1-million from that Wednesday night draw last October remains unclaimed - and time is a ticking, with roughly two weeks remaining to claim the prize.
“It‟s always very exciting to award a prize of this magnitude, so, we’re continuing to spread the word in hopes that the owner of this ticket will come forward to claim their prize,” says Jean-Marc Landry, category manager with Atlantic Lottery.
It is extremely rare that prizes go unclaimed – especially prizes of this size.
Last fiscal year Atlantic Lottery awarded $362-million in prizes to players, with only 1.2 per cent of total prizes available going unclaimed.
