NORTH RUSTICO – The search continues for 90-year-old Everett Clow who has been missing since Thursday in the P.E.I. National Park.

“The search is progressing, but at this time we have not located the individual,” said Const. Peter O’Dell of the RCMP during an interview at the scene Saturday. “We have a number of people in the woods, air support from the RCMP helicopter from New Brunswick and we also have the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick underwater recover team.” The P.E.I. Ground Search and Rescue team and Parks Canada staff are also involved.

O’Dell would not speculate on why Clow went missing and all he would say is that it is an ongoing investigation when asked if foul play is suspected. He also could not say how long the search will continue past Saturday or if it will.

Kayaks were used to search the rocks and shoreline

Kayaks were used earlier Saturday to search the shoreline and ground searchers are scouring the woods and fields along the Gulf Shore Highway in the park.

Clow is described as 5'8'' and 180 pounds with a medium build and white hair. He was last seen wearing black pants, a two-tone jacket and a silver shirt. Anyone with information on Clow's whereabouts is asked to call the RCMP at (902)-566-7112 or their local police.
