Because he can! Where do you draw the line in the red sand and say he can't drive?

Well maybe someone who is 90 should NOt be driving by themselves. It doesn't take much brains to maybe clue in that a 90 year should not be driving all by himself. Keeping in mind that if he was not driving all by himself we would not be spending large amiunts of money on the search. I would hope when I am 90 I would have long stopped driving myself.

You do not "sound cold" -just young and judgemental. Whether one should be driving or not depends on things such as health . Your attitude will change when you get older. Here on PEI , especially in the country, it is hard to hop on the bus to get to a doctor's appointment. I hope this gentleman is OK.
