Parks Canada has posted a warning about surf conditions in the P.E.I. National Park today.

Calling the conditions "dangerous," park staff say in the post, "It is strongly advised to not enter the water today as swimming conditions are not safe. To ensure the safety of our beach visitors, everyone is being asked to please follow the surfguard instructions."

The park is gearing up for the Great Island Sand Castle Competition tomorrow at Brackley Beach, as well as the P.E.I. National Park surfguard competition.
