Ladies and gentlemen of the area were invited to Fanningbank Monday for a garden party hosted by Lt. Gov. Frank Lewis and his wife Dorothy. It was the first they have hosted since moving into Fanningbank and it was open to the public. Guests sported their finest summer wear as a cool breeze blew in off the Charlottetown harbour and was a welcome respite from the previous extremely hot and humid days. The entertainment was provided by the Queens County Fiddlers. The beautiful gardens proved to be most popular as the guests sipped beverages as they strolled the grounds.

The appointed position of Lewis as Lt. Gov. is a complete waste of tax payers dollars...handing out medals & hosting tea parties, what a joke.
