The University of P.E.I. Chinese Knot Club has marked the New Year.

Among those on hand were, from left, Oksana Yang who played the Guzheng, or Chinese zither, Sihan Wang, secretary of the UPEI Chinese knot club, Zhang Lanchun, minister-counsellor for education affairs with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Canada, and Zhijian Wang, president of the UPEI club.

The weekend student-organized event packed McMillan Hall in the W.A. Murphy student centre on campus
