Just to make it harder for employees to attend these sessions, they are all during working hours!

I disagree...while i have no idea what goes on in a large business I know that we small business owners get screwed over non stop by the government. No low interest loans, no wage subsidies unless we are willing to hire criminals, no tax breaks. I work every weekend so I can continue to have staff thru the week! The government must be getting something out of this or I am sure they wouldn't bother.

If you read any economics text, the "average worker" is merely a replaceable resource to be exploited. It has no more inherent value than any other machine part. Isn't our PM an economist?

That's what my economics prof taught us. I remember getting into an argument about it. Apparently workers are basically interchangeable as long as they meet basic skill requirements for the particular job. In a properly defined job, it seems that as long as there are unemployed people with that skill set the worker has little or no economic value except as a replaceable part.

Oh no! Every time the government changes things, it isn't for the benefit of the average worker, it is to benefit company owners. Workers will get screwed again.
