The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission (PEILCC) announces retail price adjustments effective August 1 on a number of its general list products.

Adjustments include both increases and decreases on products in each of the beer, wine and spirits categories available at PEILCC’s retail

outlets.

PEILCC customers will see an average increase of $0.50/dozen in

most domestic and some import beers based on product size and format.

As well, a number of spirit and wine products will experience price

adjustments with many import products decreasing as the result of

currency fluctuations.

On average, PEILCC’s retail spirit and domestic beer pricing

remains lower than both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

As one of the largest retailers in Prince Edward Island, the

PEILCC continues to help support important government services such as health and education.

To review all listed products and prices, visit the PEILCC

website at www.peilcc.ca.

Now is the time for this government to take control of cigarettes, like they do alcohol.......Cigarettes should be sold in all the liquor stores.....This would prevent cigarettes being sold to minors.

I suggest people teach these fat cats a lesson and start brewing your own beer at home. It costs about 50Cents a bottle, and it tastes better than commercial swill if made properly. I've been making my own beer for close to 10 years, saved thousands of dollars and never looked back. You can too.

Smart gov't to come into power and raise the price to register your car, your driver's license, and beer prices every year. At least with the conservatives they attracted new business to the Island to increase revenues. I will never vote Liberal again!!
