Accused in child pornography case makes court appearance

A 26-year-old North Milton man charged with the possession and distribution of child pornography made a brief appearance in provincial court Monday.
Andrew Leslie Hood was slated to enter pleas to the charges against him but the Crown has not yet provided Hood's defence counsel with full disclosure of the evidence against him.
The Crown said a forensic analysis of Hood's computer is still being conducted.
Police have advised the Crown that the person conducting that analysis says it could take until February to complete because of the thousands of images that must be screened.
