Perhaps someone ought to walk the plank.
Health Canada is alerting parents about the recall of a "Pirates of the Caribbean" themed trundle bed that has been deemed a hazard to small children.
The elaborate bed, which boasts a ship's wheel and a prow, has a storage bin in the headboard that is just the right size for trapping little heads.
Though there have been no reports of injuries in Canada, the U.S. Consumers Products Safety Commission was informed of a four-year-old boy whose head became lodged in the opening of the storage bin.
Parents are warned to stop using the storage bin immediately.
The manufacturer, Bayside Furnishings, is offering a free repair kit to permanently close the headboard storage bin or the beds can be returned for refund.
