Taking place from April 2-6, East Coast Music Week presents five days of music all over the city of Charlottetown that showcases talent from across the Atlantic region. 

The Chaisson trio received the Dr. Helen Creighton Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2014 ECMA gala in Charlottetown Sunday night. From left are Judy, Kevin, Peter and Tim Chaisson. Tim, Kevin's son is a well know singer/songwriter in his own right and presented the award to the other members of his family. Creighton was a prominent folklorist in a career that spanned several decades.
