Luck productions, in partnership with exclaim.ca, has announced the details for two showcases taking place at The Guild during ECMA 2011.

Kicking off ECMA 2011 weekend today will be Hometown Hoedown featuring performances by Island roots, folk, country and bluegrass performers.

Tonight will be one of the only opportunities to see multi-ECMA winners and hometown favourites The Grass Mountain Hobos during ECMA 2011 weekend. Other performers set to take the stage tonight include Nudie & The Turks, Katie McGarry and Gordie MacKeeman & His Rhythm Boys.

Saturday night will quite literally rock at That Rock Show with Molly Rankin, Two Hours Traffic, Boxer the Horse and The Danks all on the same stage. For English Words fans out there, ECMA 2011 will mark their highly anticipated return after a long, cold winter spent in the lab working on new songs and what some might call a new sound.

Tickets are $10 each and are on sale now at The Guild box office (111 Queen St.) or by calling  620-3333.
