Show starts art 8 p.m. in the Irish Cultural Centre

The "Ceol Agus Cairde - Music And Friends" concert series continues tonight in Charlottetown featuring The Chaissons.

Kevin Chaisson, acknowledged to be one of the finest traditional pianist anywhere, and Louise Chaisson, who will handles the vocal and guitar for this concert, are members of the well-known Chaisson family of eastern P.E.I. Rannie MacLellan, who hails from South West Margaree, Cape Breton and resides on the Island, will be featured on the fiddle.

Together, the group's offerings range from high-energy medleys of Scottish reels and Irish jigs to beautiful strathspeys and haunting slow airs mixed with lovely traditional ballads.

The evening will also feature a 50/50 draw, and a light lunch will be served during intermission. The Concert takes place at the Irish Cultural Centre, 582 North River Road, in Charlottetown.
