Currently, instructors include head instructor Paul Abel, a second degree black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu (BJJ) under Royler Gracie, Jason Saggo, black belt in BJJ and contracted fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship -UFC, and Kertsi Kass a black belt in Kyokushin karate and blue belt in BJJ.

The classes are two kickboxing classes and two Gracie jiu jitsu classes each week. Monday/Wednesday classes are held 4:30- 5:15 p.m. and Tuesday/Thursday classes are held 5:15-6 p.m.

"Try the first class for free always or request a free 15 minute private session with an instructor, available only until February 1," a news release states.

Gracie jiu-jitsu is a grappling martial arts.

"It embraces the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger assailant if he or she can safely obtain positional control through the efficient use of body mechanics. If available and necessary, joint-locks and chokeholds are employed in order to submit the assailant."

However, at the heart of Gracie Jiu Jitsu, the ability to obtain positional control and maintain personal safety-even when placed in the most uncomfortable positions-is far more important than the ability to submit an opponent.

Head instructor of Wulfrun MMA and Gracie jiu-jitsu Paul Abel says that "Gracie Jiu-Jitsu's greatest advantage is that it can be taught to anyone, regardless of age, size or ability, and can practiced regularly at near full speed and intensity, because it promotes control over one's body in order to obtain positional control over an attacker."
