An excited Lacey Koughan will be waking up pretty early Saturday to watch her episode on CBC’s Cross Country Fun Hunt.
Saturday's episode be the series’ finale episode and it will be featuring the Victoria Duffield concert that happened back in January. The place that earned the title as Canada’s most fun place — Prince Edward Island — also received the hosting honours for the finale concert.
Overall, it was a great experience, said Koughan.
“I got to perform in a concert that’s going to be viewed all over Canada, that’s pretty crazy.”
During the contest, Koughan was able to promote people to vote for her by making announcements at her school and at the Summerside Storm games. She also promoted it through social media.
They filmed for three days but can only show so much footage in the 20-minute episode, said Koughan.
“It will be cool to see what they use and what they don’t use. I don’t have certain parts I would like them to show, it was all really fun.”
Singer Victoria Duffield is looking forward to the finale episode as well.
“I’ll definitely be watching the episode. I’m looking forward to seeing how it turned out," Duffield said in a telephone interview. "Jordan Francis put a lot of hard work into it and I’d like to see what clips they used.”
