Good job,get to the root of a lot of problems....all we need now is a good judge to lock them up,drugs lead to a lot of crime here in pei, such as people stealing break and enter to feed there habit, and has a very negative effect on family break up`s,and even violence.drug dealers are scum and should be treated as such.throw the book at them give them the max, send a message.

We know who the big drug dealers are on the Island, mostly everyone does. But they always get out of jail and keep selling drugs and getting more and more people sick. They drive around town like mobsters and threaten and hurt people, when is it ever gonna stop?? It will stop when the police crack down on the big fish, who are known to them, and a judge sentences them to life. That is what they deserve for ruinng peoples lives.

to Paul Gaudet, i think it's called supply and demand. If you could get people to stop smoking weed, the traffickers would go away. and I'm thinking they don't publish the quantity right away until the police decide how much they can keep for themselves, and still charge the dealer.

Smokes hurt no one????? Are you kidding???? The social and medical costs associated with Tobacco related illness and death is immeasurable!!!
The root of the problem isn't the dope the dealers, its the financial and social inequity created by POVERTY.
Its shameful that we here still flog the same old failed ideology. Do we really need to pay these guys 75K a year to persecute dope fiends???
It's comments like Darn Things that remind me that xenophobia is alive and well on P.E.I. Drug addicts, our favorite whipping boys. -

Getting tired of these drug traffickers getting a slap in the wrist then being released to prey on their victims .Anyone ever wonder why trafficking is getting so out of hand . Its easier to watch the ones you already know than to look for the new ones .

Its just not poor people who are hooked on drugs. You would be shocked out of your socks if you realized how many Respectable and Well Off people were hooked on one form of drug or another.
