Gunn's hat trick keys Thunder win over Islanders

CHARLOTTETOWN - Devin Gunn scored three goals to pace the Cornwall Thunder to a 5-1 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders on Thursday night.
The all-P.E.I. battle in the New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League was played at MacLauchlan Arena.
Adam Wight and Isaac Jay also scored for Cornwall, which held period leads of 2-0 and 2-1.
Jonathan Richards, Cameron Arsenault, Brandon Carter, Devon Parsons, Drew Coulson, Stefan LaPierre and Matt Stead added assists.
Craig Dougan, assisted by Cody Coffin, netted Charlottetown's lone goal.
Dylan McQuaid earned the goaltending win over Ryan Deagle.
