The Charlottetown Metro Builders outlasted the Sherwood A&S?Scrap Metal Falcons 11-9 in Mark's Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey League action Wednesday night at Cody Banks Arena.
Scoring for the Builders (4-11-0) were Mike Waddell (3), Dustin Jones (3), Tyler Moore (2), Josh Toombs (1-2), Colin Whitlock and Nicholas Cheverie.
Assists went to Ryan Chaisson (3), Morgan Walker (2), Carson Butler (2), Willie Whalen (2), Stephen Cassidy, Jordy Corcoran, Mike Crosby and Chad Doyle.
Scoring for the Falcons (8-8-1) were Grant MacAulay (3), Tyler Simpson (1-4), Kyle Reardon (1-3), Jonny Vloet (1-2), Chris Boswall (1-1), Brent Coade and Brodie MacDonald.
Brett MacDonald (2), Alex Smith and Braden Johnston drew assists.
The Falcons led 3-2 after the first period but trailed 6-5 after the second.
The Falcons held a 44-31 edge in shots on goal goal.
Goaltenders were Jeremy MacKinnon (Builders) and Ben Jones (Falcons).

Ozon's buzzer-beater
gives midget Caps tie
SUMMERSIDE - Blake Ozon scored with 1.8 seconds remaining in the third period to earn the Summerside Hemphill GM Capitals a 2-2 tie with the Western Regals on Wednesday night in the P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League.
With Capitals goaltender Derek Arsenault on the bench for an extra attacker, Ozon scored off a rebound. Tyler Doyle also scored for the Capitals, who received assists from Andy Murphy (2) and Tyson Phillips.
Brenden Arsenault (1-1) and Brett Gaudet found the back of the net for the Regals. Kirk Ramsay chipped in with a helper.
The Capitals led 1-0 after the first period, and the teams were tied 1-1 following 40 minutes.
Jake Hackett tended goal for the Regals.
