Details : GSCC will be hosting a 1 day financial basics workshop, open to all GSCC members and their staff. The workshop will be put on by Family Service PEI, and is part of a larger study being conducted by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC). Date: Tuesday, March 12th Time: 8:30am-4:30pm Content: The financial basics workshop will introduce you to the topics you need to know about to successfully manage your money: Budgeting, managing your cost of living, needs and wants, credit and debt management, saving and investing, financial planning, fraud and protecting yourself. Attendees will be asked to participate in the FCAC study by completing a pre/post-workshop survey. This is not mandatory, but should you choose to complete the survey you will be provided with an incentive of up to $30. Lunch will be provided for all participants.
