This beautiful building provides a stately setting for local artists to display their paintings, prints, photos and sculpture to both members of the club and the general public. Planned for the last weekend in November, with Christmas festivities in full swing, this Art Show and Sale is just the thing for those looking for a one of the kind original art. After living in Ottawa for many years, Louise Carota returned to PEI and has been a member of the club for the past year. Always interested in fostering opportunities for artist’s to exhibit their work, she decided to organize this event with the full support of the Haviland Club. Booths will be set up in the great room and lounge of the building. It is hoped the show will attract artists from across the island who produce high quality art in different mediums and styles. The show can accommodate 13 artists on the main floor. The overflow can make use of various rooms on the second floor as well. The latest information on the event, including profiles of the artists who’s work will be on display during the two day show, is available through Facebook https://www.facebook.com/events/569208006558838/ Any questions about the upcoming event, or if you are interested in helping out, please contact: Louise Carota 902.218.1957 louise.carota@gmail.com
