HALIFAX - Halifax police say they've released two suspects without charges in the homicide of 24-year-old Matthew Thomas Sudds.

Police had arrested a 29-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman in connection with the homicide last fall, but both were released Saturday morning without charges.

Officers say the investigation is ongoing.

The body of Sudds was found in a ditch along Africville Road in Halifax on Oct. 14.

An autopsy was conducted the same day and the death was ruled a homicide.

Police say their investigation revealed that Sudds was last seen by friends on the afternoon of Oct. 10.
