Woman dies of injuries after being hit by snow-removal vehicle

STRATFORD - A female pedestrian is dead after being hit by a heavy equipment vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Glen Stewart Drive at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
The vehicle was in the process of removing snow from the parking lot when the accident occurred.
The woman, whose name is being withheld until next of kin have been notified, was immediately transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital when Stratford RCMP and Island EMS responded to the accident but later died as a result of her injuries.
Investigation by RCMP is ongoing.

    God bless this poor woman's family. What a terrible tradegy! My thoughts and prayers are with all who were close with her.
