Joe Sherren

Joe Sherren, CEO of Gateway Leadership Inc. in P.E.I., has been honoured by being one of the first recipients of the global certified speaking professional designation.

This was announced at the recent Global Speakers’ Summit/Canadian Association of Professional Speakers Convention held in Vancouver, B.C. Sherren was one of only 20 recipients and two Canadians world-wide to receive the prestigious award.

The award is conferred by the Global Speakers Federation (GSF), which is currently comprised of 10 independent speaker associations representing 13 nations and individuals from over 20 countries.

This designation recognizes those who are appearing on global stages and bringing messages of business intelligence, skills improvement, as well as personal motivation and inspiration. The designation, CSPGlobal, indicates recognition by peers and clients for global speaking competence and experience.

Sherren is a Canadian Hall of fame (HoF) speaker. author and was president of the GSF in 2007/08. He writes a regular business column in The Guardian. His next column will appear on Saturday, Dec. 28.
