TRENTON, Ont. - The body of Trooper Larry Rudd, the latest Canadian soldier to die in Afghanistan, will arrive home Thursday afternoon.
A military plane carrying Rudds casket is scheduled to land at CFB Trenton, in eastern Ontario, at 2 p.m. ET.
Dignitaries expected to be present for the repatriation ceremony include Defence Minister Peter MacKay and Gen. Walt Natynczyk, Chief of the Defence Staff.
May his family and loved ones find the strength in each other that only the Lord can give them at this grievous time. May his Mom and Dad feel the pride and respect of all those who line the highway of heroes.
