A Door Gunner provides security from a CH-146 Griffon helicopter equipped with a Dillon M134D small caliber defense suppression weapon during an escort mission.
Joint Task Force Afghanistan (JTF-Afg) is the Canadian Forces (CF) contribution to the international effort in Afghanistan. Its operations focus on working with Afghan authorities to improve security, governance and economic development in Afghanistan. JTF-Afg comprises more than 2,750 CF members.

Well Wiarton Willy and his counterparts have said we will have a further 6 weeks of winter.To many people, this is bad news but to our troops it is not a worry.
Now this is humorous!! ! I thought it funny when they trucked Sand into PEI for the Canada games Beach Volleyball. Now they are trucking Snow to Vancouver by the truck load from as far as 3 hours drive away. What a mixed up world.
As the springtime surge in Afghanistan is expected our troops still carry out their duties.
Land, Sea, Air the missions go on professionally. Bravo Zulu Canadian Military.
In Haiti the military is still working hard as well Medics, Drivers, Infanteers Engineers Pilots sailors to mention but a few.
Then the Olympics our Canadian military is providing Full Medical Services, Evacuations,Security and all the other duties that are requested of them.
