Outpouring of grief, in remembrance of Constable Ireneusz (Eric) Czapnik
In excess of 4000 Fellow Officers from various Police Forces Joined Family and friends in honouring Constable Eric Czapnik of Ottawa. This man a Polish born immigrant to Canada, was a proud Canadian and a proud police Officer. May he rest in peace, may his family be proud of him and have the strength to carry on.
On another sad note Canada's Foreign Service office has released a report on the suicide rate of Afghan Women, another terrible consequence of misguided Islamic rule in their country.
Afghan women wearing Blue scarves on top of their heads to celebrate International Women's day and Justice for women.
As our men and women serve in Afghanistan the cultural difficulties, of winning Hearts and minds is a difficult on going process. The professionalism of Canadians whether fighting the taliban or provincial reconstruction is unequalled.
Please show your visible support by wearing something
