Red Friday Pls show your support visibly for our troops

Only 21 Days till Christmas Morning, At this special time of the year I say a prayer for all of our troops and for the Invisible Army who will be minus someone at the Christmas dinner table. Children will be without Mom or Dad to open presents as they are serving Canada in hot spots around the world. So please think of them over this holiday period.

The wearing of Red or a Yellow ribbon pin shows your support for our troops. I for one cannot understand why our MP`s MLA`s and city councillors are not showing their visible support on their lapels. This in itself is a very poor showing of support a simple yellow ribbon lapel pin would mean so much in Photo Ops and in Question Period.

A Lapel version of this yellow ribbon is available in many places across Canada.

If one of our MP's or MLA's were wearing a ribbon for every cause out there then they would not have to wear a shirt. There are ribbons and pins out there for everything!Plus when our own PM is not wearing a pin what kind of message does that point out.I think alot of people out there are just fed up with the way are troops are being treated by the Federal Gov!
You don't have to wear a pin or a ribbon or something red to support the troops.I think that people look at the wearing of this stuff as a supporter of the war or occupation or what ever you want to call it.The troops will be fine.I support them but I don't wear anything like that. When I was overseas I never thought about what the Canada public was thinking.I wanted to go over there.I
went there willing and didn't think of anyone but wife back in Canada.
