Disregard cowardly taliban propaganda

Anyone that pays attention to the propaganda rumours from the cowardly taliban, certainly has some issues. I feel deep in my heart that it is impossible that any NATO country would pay, the cowardly taliban for peace, while still exposing their soldiers to to the mindless violence of the taliban. This in synch with the latest book on Bin Laden as a nature lover and fast car maniac. One of his wives and a son paint him as a nomadic scholar, who was stern in their home life, but loved gardening. What a way to make a buck Mrs Bin Laden.

Canadian soldiers rescue monkey On a happier note this w/e a report of Canadian Soldiers doing what they have done since time began, for Canadians in war zones. Lucy a rhesus monkey native to Afghanistan, has had a collar and chain removed. A larger pen/cage with bedroom, swings, a chair and a stuffed teddy. She is clean and much happier we are sure in her new home.

As mentioned Canadians have as well as soldiers of other lands have always adopted animals in war zones. Canadian Sgt Chuck Florien and Capt. Dave Marcotuillo said that the animals relieve stress, even if just for a few moments. Talking to and petting a animal does wonders for our troops. Far from home families loved ones and pets.I am sure that even the military Vets stationed there take a moment or two to check out the animals, for injuries or diseases.

Good on these proud NATO soldiers.
