Sad news...............Happy Memories

I send deepest condolensces to wife Anita and the family of Veteran Apprentice Ted Rushton 34Pl RCASC(A). Who passed away last evening in Truro. It is never easy losing a comrade, especially when they are younger than ones self.

Soldier Apprentices of all 6 Corps were the pride and backbone of the Army 1953-1968 and sadly a lot have gone onto the advance party.

The happy memories of boyhood days as young soldiers are heartwarming and forever.

God Bless Ted Rushton, Truro Nova Scotia.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23 from 7-9 pm with a Royal Canadian Legion Branch 26 Tribute service at 7:00 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro.

Funeral service on Saturday, January 24 at 2:00 pm in St. James United Church, Great Village NS

Please show your support for all of our serving members in Canada's Forces. Where ever they may be serving.
