Military Blog Site - with Robby McRobb Blog

Important news for our Veterans and our FUTURE Veterans and their families.

To the readers who perhaps are unaware that dollars are drawn back when a veteran reaches 65 from both the RCMP and the Military. This certainly affects veterans who are currently retired and will affect our veterans from Afghanistan in the future. Disabilities and families receive insignifigant sums in payment for their sacrifices to our great country. Criminals who have caused harm to Canadians draw a full OAP when they hit 65. It is criminal for our Government (whichever party is in power) to continue CLAWBACK from Veterans who payed into and earned their pensions.

Subject: Military/RCMP Veterans Petition www.petitiononline.com/vets8

Dear Supporters and Friends,

Remembrance day ceremonies are completed for another year. With Honour we have remembered them!

Veterans and our supporters must now direct their attention to resolve the Military/RCMP Veterans Pension clawback issue. To be effective our Veterans Petition numbers need to increase to 100,000! There are 33 million Canadians in Canada and we believe, once made aware of the issue, they will support Veterans and sign this Veterans Petition. Please remember that the petition is open to all Canadians and it includes our spouses, our children and our friends.

Comrades this issue can only be resolve if we walk together shoulder to shoulder and move forward as only Forces personnel can! Business cards in both official Languages are available. Our Campaign paper is available. Think about it! We must stay involved! The success of this Veterans issue is our responsibility!

We dont air our dirty laundry, so to speak! Our Military Macho approach has to disappear! Lump sum payment for a disability is about as low as the Canadian Government can stoop for its wounded Veterans. 22 Billion dollars spent on warfare and 9 million dollars on health care of Veterans is not acceptable. The silence of Veterans must cease! Check it out: www.mcinnescooper.com/sisipltdclassaction.cfm

Soon we will write to all Senators, Members of Parliament to seek their support to terminate this unfair/unjust policy of clawing back our pension at age 65. A newspaper editorial is also being prepared for distribution.

The Veterans Ombudsman has appointed Mr. Guy Parent, Director of investigation to review our pension clawback issue.

Thank you for your previous support.

Military/RCMP Veterans have gallantly served their Country, they deserve nothing less than to spend their Golden years with the financial Dignity they have paid for and so richly deserve!

Sincerely,

John Labelle

Thanks for bringing this important issue to light. The majority of canadians do not realise that vets are punished when they hit 65. Hopefully this article on your blog will spread the word.
