Military Blog Site - with Robby McRobb Blog

Clearing up some misconceptions.

To the fine people who read my blog, and who send in their comments. I would like to clarify the previous Blog Islam the Religion of peace.

1961

2008

My intent was to show that the insurgency of religious fanatics is wrong and dangerous anywhere in the world. Please remember that The Guardian is simply the vehicle by which I write my thoughts on various subjects which either affect our troops DIRECTLY or indirectly. None of the thoughts expressed are from the Guardian. I appreciate the fact that as a Canadian I am allowed to express my personal thoughts. Canadas Military has provided us with a free democratic country. By fighting against The Kaiser ww1 The Nazis of ww2 and Communism in the Korean Conflict and various other fanatical insurgencies over the years. Please always remember the troops who are serving YOU and Canada in dangerous parts of the Globe.

The previous Blog was in no way intended to imply that any one that happens to be of the Islamic faith is wrong or evil. What is evil is the fanatic whether Islamic, Catholic, Protestant, or any other religion.

In the Blog I put in links that I had opened to confirm my information before sharing it. Two of the photos were indeed from press coverage of an Islamic Peace rally in the UK. All of this may be confirmed on sites such as BBC/news, Daily Mail Uk, The Times UK.

So if anyone took offence at the previous Blog My sincerest apologies. I thank the people who commented on the blog constructively and politely. I end with a couple of famous Quotes.

I may disagree with everything you say, but will defend unto death your right to say it. Voltaire

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young. Henry Ford

The world acquires value only through its extremes and endures only through moderation; extremists make the world great, the moderates give it stability. Paul Valery (1871 - 1945) French poet

Now some good news, The young girls who were subjected to an acid attack by monsters on a motorcycle, as they went to school. Have returned to school in defiance of the insurgents and I pray that they continue their education and graduate. Our troops and aid agencies are involved heavily in the opening and securing of schools in Afghanistan. Schools for females indeed education at any level for females is forbidden by the taliban and their interpretation of Islam.

In closing I must add this on this mornings CBC Radio. The Current the subject was the science and politics of fear.Which said the taliban are the masters of striking fear into the hearts and minds of the oppressed. You can go to cbc.ca/the current for the full show.

You pretend to support the troops. But your blog is meant to fan the flames of war. At least be honest about it. And if you have shares in the war industry then be honest about that too. I really do not see how this hate mongering will support the troops. If you like war for other people then at least say that and do not insult the intelligence of the readers of your blog with your specious arguments about how you love the people of Afghanisatn etc.. Maybe the Guardian will have a KKK blog in the future and the blogger can say that the newspaper itself does not necessarily support the views of the blog. And we REALLY DO like blacks. I try not to read your blog because I know it is written for war mongers who pretend to support the Canadian troops. But I do look at the Guardian and your blatant propaganda is right there for everyone to see. And your defence of it all is pathetic. If I told you what I thought of you it would all be censored. And rightly so. But you can say what you want about Muslims? And this is freedom of speech you say? And troops died in the past so you could fan the flames of war so more would die? Thanks for making that so abundantly clear to everyone who is subjected to this when they look at the Guardian.
