First my Thanks to all of you who have read and contributed to this Blog Site over the past 11 months. I am overwhelmed at some comments and the support of many. It makes me a proud Canadian to write my thoughts and to receive your letters.
First an important note from The PEI Military Families Centre,
The PEI Military Family Services Centre will not be open during Block Closure from Friday, December 14th at noon until Tuesday, January 8th...If you require assistance during the closure, feel free to call the Centre's number 892-8999 for further contact information...We would like to thank all Islanders for their continued support for our CF members and their families and we look forward to another great year in 2008. On behalf of everyone at the PEI MFSC I would like to wish one and all a Joyous Christmas and Happy New Year. Charlene McInnis, PEI MFS Coordinator
Thankyou Charlene for all your hard work and the dedication of your volunteers.
Secondly: I would like to take the opportunity of this site to Give a big THANKYOU to the Right Hon M.B. Mulroney OC for his forthright and riveting answers to the Parliamentary Commission. This former PM and his family have been put through the wringer yet again. He admitted a lapse in judgement and he is 100% correct in saying that his accuser . Has played the Government of Canada and the role of justice to the Nth degree. KH Schreiber has been dodging deportation for many many years.
Send this Kleine Munchkin home tail between his legs this is my THOUGHT Not The former PM's. In order to link to this primarily military column I tell you of a brief moment in History of Canada's Military which came about because of Brian Mulroney..Many Many members of the Canadian Armed Forces were so proud when the then serving Prime Minister Brian Mulroney gave the military back its History and Espirit de Corps. by returning them to 3 distinctive uniforms taken away by a Liberal Government in the late 60s early70s. Our sailors no longer looked like Coca Cola salesmen in foreign ports.
Thankyou Prime Minister for being such a strong defender of Canada during these witchhunt times.
Thirdly:
