The LONG Run !!!

Remembrance Day 11 Nov 07 Military Families event 09 Nov 07

Good day, well it is a fact that NATO would like Canada and our Canadian Troops to remain in Afghanistan for the long run. It will be very interesting when the PM calls for a vote, with regard to this subject.

What will we do? I for one, in my own opinion feel that we must stay till the end, even though I feel that this conflict will go on for many years.

Unless we can thoroughly crush and defeat the Taliban the Afghans will never be free.

It worries me now that the Turkish are shelling Kurds in Iraq. What is next another front in Afghanistan? The fighting is increasing as well along the Pakistani border.

The other members of NATO must increase their involvement Canada cannot be expected to shoulder the greater part of this mission on their own.

Something to ponder?

Please remember Tomorrow is RED FRIDAY. let's show our troop support visually in a sea of red.
