Our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Cpl.Nathan Hornburg a Vehicle Tech with the Kings Own Calgary Regiment of Calgary. The latest casualty of this conflict in Afghanistan. May he sit on the right hand of God.
Four other fellow soldiers were wounded and we send them best wishes for a speedy recovery.

PEI Welcome Home Celebrations
This Saturday 29 September There will be a meet and greet for the troops who have recently returned home to the Island and other parts of Canada. After a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Hosted by the Military Families Services centre.
This event will be open to the public and we look forward to seeing as many of you that can drop in between 1330 and 1600 Hrs
Charlene McInnis and her team have prepared this event with lots of hard work and caring for the troops and their families.,
The event will be held at The Cruise Ship Welcome Centre on the Charlottetown Waterfront. 1:30 till 4:00 pm
Come one come all BBQ (free), Childrens play area, static Military displays, the David Foster Salute to the Fallen Video will be playing at various times plus lots of visiting dignitaries.
As well as the Primary Guests of the day the Men and Women who serve Canada.
